The Gurrok are hulking, heavily muscled bipeds with cloven feet and four-fingered hands. They hail from a mountainous area across the Eastern Wastes. Despite their size, Gurrok are subterranian creatures by nature. Hairy legs, with the upper body of a man or woman and a head closely resembling a bovine, all Gurrok have sharp horns with which to skewer their foes.
Type: Large (2×2) biped folk. Their wounds equal 1.5 x constitution.
Attributes- +3 str, -1 cha
Darkvision II- Gurrok’s small eyes balloon to the size of eggs in darkness. They are immune to all penalties from ambient light.
Light Sleeper- Gurrok sleep for only a few hours at a time, easily roused by danger. Sleep is never a terminal condition for them.
Gore I- Gurrok often sharpen their horns, no matter their profession. Gurrok gain the Gore I natural attack.
Enlightened Tactics- Gurrok have an unparalleled capacity for strategy. Their maximum rank in Tactics is equal to their career level +5
Thick Hide 2- Their tough, calloused skin protects them against minor blows. They gain a natural DR2 that does not stack with armor.
Burden of Ages- The toughness of this tissue makes natural healing difficult, however. Effects that cure or restore vitality have only 1/2 the normal effect.
